Abstract: The article examines the research that has been done on class discipline and management through the framework of ecological systems theory. Researcher Jacob Kounin proposed a set of activities that teachers should employ for themselves in order to improve teacher-student relations by stressing communication. Some aspects of classroom ecology are still not fully understood, including how teachers and students can improve cooperation to accomplish achievement goals. The pacing of lessons and signal systems can be used by teachers to maintain the direction of students' focus.
