It reviews the history of web design since the late 1990s and explains how technologies such as Mobile-First Design and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) have influenced the user experience. The article also discusses the use of content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal, as well as modern technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Additionally, it highlights the integration of artificial intelligence technologies, natural language processing (NLP), augmented reality (AR), and extended reality (XR) in user interface design. The article points out that these developments will lead to more interactive and personalized homepages, relying on AI to deliver customized content without the need for traditional navigation through links.
