Abstract (English): This study aimed to identify the primary mechanisms for enhancing website visibility. To accomplish this, a systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA methodology. Sources were gathered using the Google Scholar search engine, alongside a careful examination of the following bibliographic databases: Scopus, Springer, IEEE, ScienceDirect, Scielo, Redalyc, and Dialnet. A total of 407 studies retrieved from these academic databases were analyzed, with 20 meeting the inclusion criteria. The results underscore the significance of optimizing web performance, ensuring mobile device adaptability, employing semantic HTML tags, and effectively managing keywords and metadata. Furthermore, more advanced strategies were identified, including efficient indexing and enhancement of user experience. Achieving successful web positioning necessitates the effective integration of client-side and server-side development, optimization of JavaScript, and the application of sophisticated search engine optimization strategies, particularly considering the ongoing advancements in web technologies and the evolving nature of search algorithms. Abstract (Spanish): Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar los principales mecanismos para mejorar la visibilidad de los sitios web. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación se realizó una revisión sistemática empleando la metodología PRISMA. Las fuentes fueron consultadas desde el buscador Google Scholar, y se tuvieron en cuenta las bases de datos bibliográficas: Scopus, Springer, IEEE, ScienceDirect, Scielo, Redalyc y Dialnet Se analizaron 407 estudios obtenidos de bases de datos académicas, de los cuales 20 cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Los resultados destacan la importancia de la optimización del rendimiento web, la adaptabilidad a dispositivos móviles, el uso de etiquetas HTML semánticas y la adecuada gestión de palabras clave y metadatos. Asimismo, se identificaron estrategias más avanzadas como la indexación eficiente y la mejora de la experiencia del usuario. El posicionamiento web exitoso requiere una integración eficiente entre el desarrollo desde lado del cliente y del servidor, la optimización de JavaScript, y la implementación de estrategias avanzadas de optimización de motores de búsqueda, dado el avance constante de las tecnologías web y los cambios en los algoritmos de búsqueda.
