Abstrakt: The article discusses processes shaping employment policy for persons with disabilities against the backdrop of broader changes in social policy in the neoliberal context. Based on secondary analyses (i.e., existing data, the author's and others research, and the literature overview), a hypothesis of the risk of expected failure (hidden behind a facade of cruel optimism) supported by neoliberal tendencies in social policy towards vulnerable groups is formulated. It has also been demonstrated how neoliberal solutions, ones that are focused on economizing social policy, lead to new social problems without solving the old ones. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
