Abstrakt: The measurement of charmonium production is a key probe for studying hot nuclear matter (HNM) effects because the suppression and regeneration mechanism is deeply affected by the hot medium. The new result, that is, the ratio of prompt production cross-sections of ψ(2S) over J/ψ mesons both decaying to dimuon channels is reported as a function of centrality in this contribution, using data collected by the LHCb detector in PbPb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV. It shows a flat dependence on centrality. The results are also compared to the latest experimental measurements and theoretical models. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
