| Abstract (English): |
Available comparisons between process mining tools are often outdated or lack evaluation from a user perspective, which makes it difficult to choose a suitable tool. The purpose of this study was to provide a comparative analysis of four modern tools and offer insight into their strengths and weaknesses. The goal was to determine which tools are most suitable for business users in terms of availability, functional sophistication and ease of use. The analysis was conducted using a consistent methodological approach, which included a review of documentation, hands-on testing with two publicly available datasets, and evaluation based on predefined criteria. The findings show that Celonis and Apromore offer the most comprehensive support for business users. Both tools received the highest scores for functionality in nearly all categories, are easy to use, and include artificial intelligence features. On the other hand, ProM and PM4Py provide greater flexibility and transparency in analytical procedures but require technical knowledge and are therefore not suitable for widespread use without proper training. By emphasizing practical user experience and ease of use, this study complements existing analyses that focus mainly on lists of features. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

Dostopne primerjave med orodji za rudarjenje procesov so pogosto zastarele ali ne vključujejo ocene iz uporabniške perspektive, kar otežuje izbiro primernega orodja. Namen prispevka je bil ponuditi primerjalno analizo štirih sodobnih orodij in tako omogočiti vpogled v njihove prednosti in slabosti. Cilj je bil ugotoviti, katera orodja so najbolj primerna za poslovne uporabnike iz vidikov razpoložljivosti, naprednosti funkcionalnosti in enostavnosti uporabe. Analiza se je izvedla z enotnim metodološkim pristopom, ki je vključeval pregled dokumentacije, praktično testiranje z dvema javno dostopnima podatkovnima nizoma ter ocenjevanjem po vnaprej določenih kriterijih. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da orodji Celonis in Apromore ponujata najbolj celovito podporo poslovnim uporabnikom. Obe orodji dosegata najvišjo oceno naprednosti v skoraj vseh sklopih funkcionalnosti, sta enostavni za uporabo in vključujeta umetno inteligenco. Na drugi strani ProM in PM4Py omogočata večjo prilagodljivost in preglednost analitičnih postopkov, vendar zahtevata tehnično znanje in zato nista primerna za široko uporabo brez ustreznega usposabljanja. S poudarkom na praktični uporabniški izkušnji in enostavnosti uporabe prispevek dopolnjuje obstoječe analize, ki se osredotočajo predvsem na seznam funkcionalnosti. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
