Abstract (English): The writings in this document are the result of a reflective exercise conducted in the Design Epistemology course of the PhD in Design at UP. They explore the reinterpretation of Rich Gold's framework, which integrates art, science, design, and engineering, through the lens of design epistemology and in relation to creativity. The authors examine how these disciplines interact from different fields of knowledge and discuss the role of human creation in contrast to and collaboration with AI-generated creativity. The authors analyze the heuristics of innovation, or the influence of brain waves on the creative process, as well as the capabilities and limitations of AI tools in the conceptualization and visualization of ideas. Finally, they propose a more holistic and interdisciplinary view of design that considers social, ethical, and contextual aspects. Rich Gold's original model was conceived as a framework for understanding creativity, structured into four fundamental quadrants: art, science, design, and engineering. Each of these quadrants provides unique perspectives that can enrich innovation. These perspectives are rooted in the hats RG claimed to wear at every moment of his work, representing art, science, design, and engineering. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
