Abstrakt: The article focuses on the use of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided radiofrequency ablation (RFA) as a non-invasive treatment option for insulinomas, particularly in cases of incomplete surgical resection. It presents a case of a 45-year-old female who experienced recurrence of symptoms after an incomplete enucleation of a pancreatic insulinoma and opted for EUS-guided RFA instead of further surgery. The procedure resulted in the complete resolution of her symptoms without complications. The discussion highlights the potential advantages of EUS-guided RFA over traditional surgical methods, especially for patients hesitant to undergo invasive procedures, while also noting the anatomical limitations and the need for further studies to compare the efficacy and safety of these treatment options.
