| Abstract (English): |
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between theology students' self-efficacy in speaking and their academic intrinsic motivation. The sample of the research consists of 301 students enrolled in the Faculty of Theology at İnönü University during the spring semester of the 2021–2022 academic year. The data were collected using a cross-sectional survey design through a data collection instrument that included a personal information form, the "Self-Efficacy Scale for Speaking Skills," and the "Academic Intrinsic Motivation Scale." The data obtained were analyzed using the correlational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, and interpreted within the framework of the relevant literature. The study found that students' speaking self-efficacy and academic intrinsic motivation levels were at a moderate level. Furthermore, a significant relationship was identified between students’ academic intrinsic motivation and their self-efficacy in speaking. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ilahiyat öğrencilerinin konuşma öz yeterliliklerini akademik içsel motivasyonlarıyla olan ilişkisini incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemi İnönü Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesinde 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılı bahar döneminde öğrenim gören 301 öğrenci ile oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri kişisel bilgi formuna ek olarak ‘Konuşma Becerisine Yönelik Öz Yeterlilik Ölçeği’ ve ‘Akademik İçsel Motivasyon Ölçeği’nden oluşan veri toplama aracı ile kesitsel tarama yapılarak toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ilişkisel tarama modeliyle karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiş ve literatür çerçevesinde yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin konuşma öz yeterliklerinin ve akademik içsel motivasyonlarının orta düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır. Yine öğrencilerin akademik içsel motivasyonlarıyla akademik öz yeterlikleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
