| Abstract: |
This paper presents a method for estimating the parameters of a Permanent Magnet DC Motor (PMDC) using the "Parameter Estimator" tool in MATLAB. The authors also conducted simulations and experiments with the identified motor on a Rotary Inverted Pendulum (RIP) using a Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) controller to validate the results. The findings demonstrate that the system responds well, with a close match between simulation and experimental results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
