Abstrakt: The article published in the Journal of Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology discusses two cases of atypical fast/slow atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) where high-density mapping successfully visualized the fast pathway (FP) activation. The cases involved catheter ablation for symptomatic patients without structural heart disease, and the 3D mapping revealed antegrade FP conduction into the AV node at the top of the Triangle of Koch. This novel visualization of the activation in the tachycardia circuit sheds light on the components and mechanisms of atypical AVNRT, showcasing the potential of high-density mapping systems in clarifying clinical AVNRT complexities.
