Abstrakt: The text discusses various studies related to gastrointestinal function and disorders, including constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, and functional abdominal pain disorders. Methods such as abdominal ultrasonography and serum IAA analysis were used to investigate the correlation between stool types, psychological symptoms, and gut microbiota metabolites in patients with different conditions. The text also highlights the potential role of enteric neurons, immune responses, and therapeutic interventions in managing gastrointestinal disorders. Additionally, the impact of metabolic health, obesity, and Salmonella Enteritidis infection on gut-brain interactions is explored.
