Zdroj: AIP Conference Proceedings; 2024, Vol. 3069 Issue 1, p1-12, 12p
Predmety: MACHINE tool industry, NUMERICAL control of machine tools, MODE shapes, FREQUENCIES of oscillating systems, SAFETY factor in engineering, DEAD loads (Mechanics), DYNAMIC loads, MACHINE tools, MILLING-machines
Abstrakt: The CNC mother machine is the name of a large CNC milling machine designed to produce other smaller machine tools. The CNC mother machine was designed according to the required specifications, with quality according to ISO standards and thorough testing of the accuracy. Strength analysis is needed to get an optimal design of the CNC mother machine to maintain the movement accuracy of the machine towards all axes. The development of CNC mother machine at BPPT (now BRIN), with PT. Daun Biru Engineering to increase domestic technology's independence in the machine tool industry. This paper will analyze the loading on the machine structure designed to withstand static and dynamic loads while operating. The maximum stress von Mises results are 23.65 MPa (load at the edge) with a maximum displacement of 37.35 µm, 24 MPa (load in the middle) with a maximum displacement of 48.23 µm, and a factor of safety range from 5.83 to 5.92. The natural vibration frequency of mode shapes obtained ranges from 115.28 Hz to 221.93 Hz, which is still above the limit of 100 Hz (around 6,000 rpm spindle motor), with a maximum displacement of 1 mm.
