India is still an agriculture dependent country. Still, the utilization of technology in the field of agriculture is less mainly due to the high cost of these technologies. However, IOT is one domain that can help in providing a cost-effective methodology to improve the agriculture. This is based on calculating various factors including soil moisture content, need of fertilizers, weather monitoring, etc. Therefore, the present article provides a brief review of various technologies and their advancements related to IOT in the last half decade.
