Abstract: The article discusses the issue of gender bias and underrepresentation in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), particularly in Aquatic Sciences. Despite efforts to increase diversity and inclusion, gender and diversity gaps persist. The Gender LimnoEDU project, presented at a conference, provides teaching materials and a questionnaire to help educators include the work of female scientists in their classes and assess their own biases. The article emphasizes the importance of addressing biased teaching practices and promoting inclusivity in STEM education. [Extracted from the article]
