Abstrakt: Risk assessment of work safety in container dry ports (CDPs) was conducted by adopting a continuous risk matrix (CRM) based on the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The study consisted of (a) identifying risk factors (RFs) for work safety at CDPs, (b) adopting the fuzzy AHP approach to estimate the likelihood and consequence weights of RFs and (c) developing a CRM to evaluate the risk level of work safety in CDPs. For the empirical study, CDPs in Vietnam were surveyed to verify the research model. The proposed CRM can be used as a reference for theoretical methodologies in risk-assessment research. At the same time, the empirical study can provide practical information for dry port managers to improve their performance towards work safety. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
