Abstract (English): Nowadays, accessibility to the Internet has increased remarkably; and the use of devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, PCs currently allow people to access a wide variety of applications, among which are those that allow locating places such as hotels, hospitals, parks, restaurants, thus allowing quick access to information. The present work emphasizes applications that allow the geolocation and location of almost any site, presenting a solution, to the location of all specialized health centers in pediatrics and family medicine located in the city, either the closest to the location current, or a nearby alternative, so this paper describes the development of a web application that improves search and location services, through the use of GPS technology and implementation of the Google Maps API. In addition to the implementation of XML files and the 3 layers architecture so that the presentation of the data is faster and more dynamic for the user. All this following the development process presented by the Scrum methodology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): Hoy en día, la accesibilidad a Internet ha ido incrementando notablemente; y el uso de dispositivos como smartphones, tablets, laptops, PC's actualmente permiten a las personas acceder a una extensa variedad de aplicaciones, entre las cuales están aquellas que permiten localizar lugares como hoteles, hospitales, parques, restaurantes, permitiendo así el acceso rápido a información. El presente trabajo hace énfasis en aplicaciones que permiten la geolocalización y ubicación de casi cualquier sitio, presentando una solución, a la ubicación de todos los centros de salud especializados en pediatría y medicina familiar ubicados en la ciudad, ya sea el más cercano a la ubicación actual, o una alternativa cercana, por ello en este trabajo se describe el desarrollo de una aplicación web que mejore los servicios de búsqueda y ubicación, a través del uso de la tecnología GPS e implementación de la API de Google Maps. Además de la implementación de archivos XML y la arquitectura 3 capas para que la presentación de los datos sea más rápida y dinámica para el usuario.
