Company/Entity: APPLE Inc. AAPL
Abstract: The article discusses a joint multiuser beamforming (JMB) system that reportedly enables independent access points to beamform their signals and communicate with their clients on the same channel as if they were one large Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmitter as of July 2014. A low-overhead technique for synchronizing the phase of multiple transmitters in a distributed manner is addressed. Other topics include wireless LANs, wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) networks, and computer company Apple Inc.'s iPhone 4 smartphone.
