Abstract: The article discusses the development of genomic databases with interactive access for the storage of information on human DNA which requires layered abstractions in genome data processing. Topics include the three layers for genome processing called the instrument layer, the evidence layer, and the inference layer; the GQL declarative query computer language for automatic optimization and privacy checks; and information on the data management and storage aspects of DNA genomics sequencing and processing.
