Abstract:	The author presents a study of the review processes of the "MIS Quarterly" from 1995-2001 in order to see if they could be improved. Taken into account are the costs of reviewing papers, the number of papers received and accepted, and the percentage of papers accepted. The author discusses the issue of revising papers that are submitted and the importance of revisions to the quality of the journal.
