| Abstract: |
The article discusses the effort to expand the Java computer language's application capability into safety-critical where failure puts lives at risk in the U.S. Once implemented, this new profile will help enable software engineers to write Java programs with unprecedented levels of reliability. Safety-critical systems may involved supporting life or in tasks where mistake can imperil lives. The ideal language for safety-critical software would allow succinct implementation of the design. |
