| Abstract: |
In recent decades, civil society organizations in the city of Tripoli have become a cornerstone in supporting sustainable development and local communities, particularly in the fields of education, health, the environment, and human rights. However, these organizations face significant challenges related to financial sustainability, as they heavily rely on non-sustainable funding from international and local sources, making them vulnerable to financial fluctuations that hinder the effective implementation of their projects and the long-term achievement of their goals . This study aims to analyze the impact of sustainable financing on civil society organizations in Tripoli, focusing on developing financial strategies that enhance their ability to achieve sustainable development goals. Using the descriptive-analytical method, it was found that organizations relying on diverse and long-term funding sources are more capable of successfully executing their projects and delivering services effectively and continuously. Conversely, organizations depending on temporary funding face difficulties in maintaining continuity and expanding their activities, negatively impacting the achievement of development goals such as poverty eradication, improved education, and enhanced public health . Based on this, it becomes essential for organizations to focus on diversifying their funding sources to ensure the sustainability of their programs. Additionally, long-term financial strategies must be developed to reduce reliance on unstable funding, thereby helping to ensure the continuity of developmental activities and the achievement of desired goals across various sectors . The primary objective of the study is to analyze how sustainable financing impacts civil society organizations in Tripoli and how these organizations can develop sustainable financial strategies that enhance their ability to achieve sustainable development goals. The central question is thus formulated as follows: "How can civil society organizations in Tripoli develop sustainable financial strategies that enhance their ability to achieve sustainable development goals and ensure the continuity of their programs?
