Abstrakt: The article discusses a report within the issue regarding radiocarbon (14C) dating and modeling of Egyptian dynasties and how they are strengthening the links between historical chronology and archaeological associations. According to the author, radiocarbon dating could potentially verify the various chronological interpretations of ancient literary sources of Pharaonic Egypt that exist. Topics include an overview of the research team's development and use of three separate multiphase 14C models to represent the three major kingdoms, which include the Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, and New Kingdom, and the significance of the volcanic eruption at Santorini in the Aegean Sea during the Late Minoan IA period in archaeo-history.
