| Abstract: | Building Information Modeling (BIM), also known as BIM, is a method that uses 3D models to integrate information across stakeholders, monitor work processes, and manage digital assets throughout the design, construction, and maintenance stages of a project. The PSDKU Kolaka Campus is a planned Polytechnic campus to be constructed in Kolaka. The initial planning stage involves developing the PSDKU Kolaka Campus concept, resulting in a master plan and a Feasibility Study document. The subsequent stage includes creating a detailed engineering Design (DED) technical document, which encompasses planning the campus environment area based on the master plan concept. This planning stage will use Open BIM for environmental planning, including the placement and geometry of environmental roads, building mass platforms, integrated areas, building drainage systems, clean water and fire extinguishing network systems, domestic wastewater management systems, parks, parking, pedestrian pathways, green open spaces (RTH), and other facilities. BIM will be implemented in environmental planning through collaboration with various BIM software such as Tekla Structures and SketchUp from Trimble, Autodesk Civil 3D from Autodesk, Surfer from Golden Software, and other supporting software. The output of this research will be a 3D model of the PSDKU Kolaka campus area planning that realistically and accurately visualizes the concept in the master plan. The precise Quantity Take-Off (QTO) obtained from 3D modeling will be used for budget cost calculations and preparing the implementation schedule. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
