| Abstract: |
An assortment of AM innovations is being utilized to manufacture metallic parts and parts for a large number of uses like developments, clinical, atomic, and airplane business. In this review, we will discuss about the residual stresses generated in additively manufactured parts using metallic materials and how they affect the properties of the parts. Due to rise in temperature while part manufacturing and cooling of the material afterwards leads to the development of the residual stresses. Now because of this, the distortions are observed in the part and even the failure of the same. The current work centers around the RS in HMAM. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
