Abstract: The photographic essay documents community life in the Tapajós National Forest (FLONA Tapajós), focusing on the interaction between residents and their environment. It highlights cultural practices, sustainable economic activities such as honey production, artisanal fishing, and latex extraction, as well as the region's biodiversity and community dynamics. Through participant observation and photography, it explores themes of sustainable resource management, cultural resilience, and community-based tourism. The work seeks to address a gap in the visual representation of the Tapajós National Forest by emphasizing the human dimension of its sustainable relationship with nature. It brings a more human perspective to conservation efforts and highlights the importance of sustainable management in the Amazon. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
