Shrnutí:There are many modem approaches to criticism and there are many debates and disagreements around them. Among these approaches are the social approach that emerged in the lap of die historical approach, which calls for linking literature with society and measuring die quality of the poet by portraying the concerns of his society. On die basis of this came my choice of the novel (my story with a broken head) of the writer Tahseen Kanmian (writer and playwright, bom 1959 Jalawla - Diyala / Iraq, a member of the Literary- Union of Iraq since 1995.
