| Zusammenfassung: | BRILLANT is a collaborative tool collection associated with the B formal language. The collection is centered around one particular tool known as BCaml. The initial and main purpose of BCaml is the implementation of the B method using recent methodologies, languages and technologies. The most recent tool to use BRILLANT is a specification verification assistant, Communicating Sequential Processes (CSP)||B. The functions of some of these tools will be discussed in greater detail. The initial objective of the tool was the mechanization of the different theorems presented in the B‐Book with the aim of ensuring their consistency. The other objective, which is also a consequence of this implementation, was to create a proof tool for B. This aim has been partially fulfilled, as the implementation covers all B constructions except for parts of the integer definitions and the sequence and tree aspects. |
