| Zusammenfassung: | Applied Tech Systems, The Netherlands, got its start by carefully studying the trends in the North American controls industry and selecting partners it thought would be most successful in Europe. In 1986, ATS brought Icom's Allen-Bradley programmable controller programming software to Europe and quickly converted users to this new PC-based concept. According to Michael James of ATS, ATS' success had been based upon close partnership with American companies, providing the local knowledge and language skills with excellent technical support. ATS now has branch offices in UK, Belgium and Germany, with distributors in other countries. |
