Transmedia Festivals sind ein hybrides Eventformat, das sich im 21. Jahrhundert in Europa und weltweit als neues Eventformat etabliert hat. Hier werden Kulturtechniken, Lifestyles, Audiosoziale Gemeinschaften, Soundwelten, Medien, Technologien und Netzwerke sichtbar, aber auch Dynamiken, Ideologien und Machtstrukturen, die zunehmend auf Kapitalmaximierung, dem Abbau von sozialen Sicherungssystemen und auf Monopolisierung basieren. Anhand der Transmedia Festivals lässt sich aufzeigen, wie soziale, ästhetische und wirtschaftliche Aspekte heute zunehmend verwoben sind. |
