| Abstract | The purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness of educational practices that incorporate programming in the home economics of elementary schools and to obtain basic knowledge to improve elementary school programming education. The authors conducted a programming class for 33 fifth grader to promote elaboration of basic knowledge in “Cooking Basics”, a home economics course in elementary school, using Scratch, a visual programming language, and verified its educational effects. The results of the analysis indicated that engaging in learning activities that incorporate programming as a review of experiential learning leads to the elaboration of basic knowledge, and then to consolidation of subject learning. It was also suggested that it is possible to increase their interest in programming depending on the theme for both male and female students. |

本研究の目的は小学校家庭科「調理の基礎」におけるプログラミングを取り入れた教育実践の効果を検証し，小学校プログラミング教育の充実を図るための基礎的知見を得ることである．小学校5年生33名を対象に，ビジュアル型プログラミング言語Scratchを利用した小学校家庭科「調理の基礎」における基礎的知識の精緻化を促進させるプログラミング授業を実践し，その教育的効果を検証した．分析の結果，体験型の学習の振り返りとして，プログラミングを取り入れた学習活動に取り組むことは基礎的知識の精緻化につながり，教科の確実な学びにつながることが示された.また，プログラミングで扱う題材によって，男女ともにプログラミングの興味・関心を高められる可能性が示唆された． The purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness of educational practices that incorporate programming in the home economics of elementary schools and to obtain basic knowledge to improve elementary school programming education.
