Abstract In order to solve the problem of power supply for low-power electrical appliances on cross-sea bridges, this paper introduces a new type of point-absorbing wave energy power generation device based on a mechanical rectification power take-off system. Firstly, a complete model of the device is established, and the physical entity of the device is fabricated according to 3D printing technology. Secondly, the theoretical model of the device is analyzed based on the Froude-Krylov criterion. Finally, the effectiveness of the device is verified through experiments.
