| Summary: | Novel deterministic channel estimation and symbol recovery algorithms are proposed for the identification and equalization of time- and frequency selective channels where the time variation is modeled by a Fourier basis expansion. The resulting algorithms employ a generalized orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) precoding scheme, require few data points to be operational and yield near-perfect estimates at high SNRs. Simulations illustrate the approach. |
