AbstractList In this follow-up to last issue's look at the "language divide," Vinoski looks at a possible solution - integrating ECMAScript (more commonly known as JavaScript) with an implementation of the Java API for XML Web Services (JAX-WS) 2.0. This lets developers implement JAX-WS services using either plain JavaScript or its XML-oriented counterpart, the ECMAScript for XML (E4X) language.
