Shrnutí:The purpose of this paper is to present how EPG events coming from a DTV transport stream can be searched by system wide search application on a embedded DTV device that is running Android OS. Our proposal for this integration relies on a Quick Search Box as main search GUI application on Android OS. This implementation will be based on extension of DTV Java API for getting and searching of the EPG information.
