However, it is not about tasks in general, as that subject has been the topic of numerous books and articles (e.g., R. Ellis, 2003; Nunan, 2004; Robinson & Gilabert, 2007; Samuda & Bygate, 2008), and specific tasks are discussed in other chapters (Chapters 3 and 7). In this chapter we are dealing with a special type of task which has the target grammar point presented implicitly or explicitly as the task content. These are structured grammar-focused tasks, also called grammar consciousness-raising tasks.
