| Shrnutí: | In this paper, the authenticated encryption algorithm (called Tulip) is integratedlydesigned based on the straightforward combination of CFB mode and CBC-MAC mode of blockcipher. CFB mode is called once to generate ciphertext, and CBC-MAC mode is called twice to process trusted identity and ciphertext in order to generate authentication code. The algorithm is suitable for short message authenticated encryption. The authenticated encryption algorithm only uses the encryption mode of block cipher, and only needs one circuit for hardware implementation. Theoretical analysis shows that if the block cipher is pseudo-random permutation, and the adversary is nonce-respecting, the privacy and authenticity of the authenticated encryption algorithm will be provably secure. |
