Shrnutí:Visual data mining already has dramatically improved information exploration and retrieval in data-intensive applications. Now it is moving to the Web where its impact will be enormous. New technology allows users to explore multivariate data sets using insightful, interactive three-dimensional visual representations. Recent enhancements, such as VRML, plug-ins, Java applets, JavaBeans, and ActiveX, expand these capabilities to the Web.
