Symmetric finite volume discretizations for parabolic problems

Based on a linear finite element space, in this paper, one semi-discrete symmetric finite volume scheme and two full discrete symmetric finite volume schemes for a class of parabolic problems are presented and analyzed. Some numerical examples are reported.
