It is available in four versions: basic extrusion, outward extrusion, beveled extrusion, and chamfered extrusion, and all allow the production of satisfactory results in terms of interactivity or visual quality. The problem is that the extruded surfaces do not exhibit microrelief effects and have a lack of realistic superficial wrinkles. To solve this problem, we proposed in this paper a combination of the per-pixel extrusion mapping and the bump mapping in order to add a microrelief effect to extruded surfaces without changing the basic geometry.
