Shrnutí:The first cave-dwelling terrestrial isopod species of the genus Agnara Budde-Lund, 1908 is described from Zarneh Cave, western Iran. Agnara cavernicola Bakhshi and Kashani, sp. nov. is characterised by a reduced number of ommatidia and body pigments.
