Description
Summary:An important factor was the elution of Cs without destruction of the impregnated sorbent, which is closely related to the geometry of the setup for measuring Cs on a gamma detector, where solution in a vial is used and not a precipitate. The fibers served as a matrix to form a sorbent that would operate on a similar principle as, for example, sorbents from commercial companies for the separation of Cs or other radionuclides.
