| Zusammenfassung: | Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the pituitary revealed a slightly wider pituitary stalk (to 3.5 mm) and lack of a signal from the posterior lobe. In 2011, the patient developed a total anterior lobe insufficiency and received a suitable replacement therapy, although MRI images of the pituitary did not change. Because of discord between clinical signs and MRI images, we decided for an additional MRI follow-up (more common than routinely recommended). |
