| Abstract | As lacunas na produção de informações oficiais sobre a violência por parceiro (a) íntimo constituem um dos maiores desafios para o enfrentamento do problema. Nesse sentido, os sistemas de informação sobre violência contra as mulheres são instrumentos fundamentais na produção de estatísticas oficiais que auxilie o planejamento, a tomada de decisões, a avaliação e o monitoramento das medidas já adotadas. Assim, o presente artigo teve como objetivo analisar o Sistema de Informação da Secretaria de Polícia Civil do Estado do Rio de Janeiro e a construção das estatísticas sobre violência por parceiro íntimo (VPI) produzidas pelo complexo de instituições da Segurança Pública. Conclui-se que a incorporação da abordagem interseccional pelo sistema de informação policial se faz necessária para a construção de estatísticas precisas e inclusivas sobre o fenômeno.

The gaps in the production of official information about intimate partner violence constitute one of the greatest challenges in dealing with the problem. In this sense, information systems on violence against women are fundamental instruments in the production of official statistics, which aid in planning, decision-making, and the evaluation and monitoring of measures already adopted. Thus, this article aimed to analyze the Information System of the Civil Police Secretariat of the State of Rio de Janeiro and the construction of statistics on intimate partner violence (IPV) produced by the complex of Public Security institutions. We conclude that the incorporation of the intersectional approach by the police information system is necessary for the construction of accurate and inclusive statistics on the phenomenon. |
