Abstract Aquest article audita tots els premis literaris a obra inèdita, en la modalitat de narrativa adulta en català, convocats des del País Valencià al llarg de l’última dècada completa (2011-2020). Més enllà de similituds o dissemblances constatades entre aquest reguitzell de certàmens, la nòmina de noveŀles premiades al si d’aquest paradigmàtic circuit cultural perfila un arquetip si fa no fa definit d’autor habitualment guardonat. A aquest efecte, s’avalua la concatenació de valors mostrals per sexe i per origen geogràfic dels escriptors distingits, tot contrastant-ho amb indicadors anàlegs com la relació d’agraciats amb els principals premis literaris en llengua pròpia de la resta de territoris catalanoparlants dins d’aquesta mateixa seqüència temporal o amb l’encreuament de dades d’altres paràmetres també afins, com ara la concessió de premis a obra publicada. De resultes de tot plegat s’infereix l’existència d’un cànon nominal geolocalitzat a partir dels qui n’han rebut diversos, circumstància altrament previsible atesa la procedència consemblant del gruix d’originals aspirants. Fet i fet, s’escenifica el panorama idiosincràtic d’uns certàmens literaris que traspuen, per virtut o per defecte, una aura de territorialitat marcadament particular o genuïna.

This article goes over the verdicts for all literary prizes for unpublished work in adult literature in Catalan awarded by the Region of Valencia from 2011 to 2020. Beyond the observed similarities and differences in the contests considered, the list of award-winning novels in this paradigmatic cultural space is largely made up of authors who regularly win awards. To this end, we assess the progression of sample values (e.g., sex and geographic origin) of authors who won such awards and contrast it with comparable indicators, such as recipients' relationships with the major literary prizes from the rest of the Catalan-speaking territories in the same timeframe and data on other related parameters, such as awards for published work. As a result, we can infer the existence of a nominal, localized canon based on previous winners of multiple prizes, a foreseeable circumstance given the similar origins of the majority of the works considered. In the end, we find an idiosyncratic backdrop underlying literary contests that give off, by virtue or defect, a notably unique and genuine aura of territoriality.
