Abstract Introducción: Este estudio analiza las potencialidades del Corpus de Aprendientes Chinos de Español (CACHE), específicamente el Componente Escrito del Subcorpus de Aprendientes Chinos de Español como Lengua Extranjera (SubCACHELE Escrito), para abordar la enseñanza y práctica de la atenuación en estudiantes de Filología Hispánica del Chongqing Institute of Foreign Studies (CIFS). Se detectaron dificultades en el desarrollo de la competencia pragmática atenuadora (CPA) y carencias en los materiales educativos relacionados. Metodología: Se realizó una revisión de los documentos curriculares de la carrera y estudios previos sobre el uso de corpus de aprendientes, con un enfoque en su implementación para desarrollar la CPA. Además, se evaluaron las aplicaciones de corpus lingüísticos (de nativos) y corpus de aprendientes en la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera (ELE). Resultados: Los resultados revelan la ausencia de objetivos específicos y recursos didácticos dirigidos al perfeccionamiento de la CPA, lo que limita el desarrollo comunicativo de los estudiantes. CACHE se presenta como una herramienta valiosa para suplir estas carencias. Conclusiones: Se proponen recomendaciones para incorporar CACHE en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la atenuación, mejorando la competencia comunicativa y pragmática de los estudiantes de Filología Hispánica del CIFS. The objective of this study is to describe the potential of the Corpus of Chinese Learners of Spanish (CACHE) and, in particular, the Written Component of the Subcorpus of Chinese Learners of Spanish as a Foreign Language (SubCACHELE Written) for the study, presentation, and practice of mitigation by Chinese students in the Hispanic Philology program at the Chongqing Institute of Foreign Studies (CIFS). In this educational context, we identified difficulties in the teaching-learning process (TLP) of mitigation and in the development of pragmatic mitigation competence (PMC). The TLP documents and materials do not include objectives or didactic resources aimed at improving this competence, resulting in insufficient development of students' communicative competence. Methodologically, we reviewed the guiding documents of the program and previous studies related to the use of learner corpora and, specifically, the implementation of learner corpora for the development of PMC. After evaluating the applications of linguistic corpora (of native speakers) and learner corpora in the field of Spanish as a Foreign Language, we developed recommendations for the didactic application of CACHE in the TLP of mitigation in the Hispanic Philology program at CIFS.
