Shrnutí:This publication was created to commemorate the inauguration of the Parsifal catalogue, which took place on 11th May 2023 in the Aula Magna Giovanni Paolo II of the Pontificia Università Urbaniana. With Parsifal, the Roman Union of Ecclesiastical Libraries (URBE), an association that brings together the libraries of universities, faculties and pontifical institutes, achieves the ambitious objective of an integrated catalogue, uniformly compiled, in compliance with international standards. Many have participated in the realization of this project: the Rectors of the various academic institutions, the directors of the libraries, and the cataloguers, whose expertise has collectively grown from year to year thanks to the valuable investment in training. Parsifal is an initiative built upon the library know-how and assistance of @Cult and Casalini Libri and is linked both to Italian and international realities; these include the SHARE-Catalogue collaboration, an acronym for Scholarly Heritage and Access to Research, in turn part of the broader Share Family initiative which involves major North American and Northern European libraries.
