The source material is published in the major peer-reviewed plastic surgery journals. The conclusions frequently challenge conventional wisdom. Fat redistribution theory is dispelled. A unique chapter titled "The Metabolic Effect of Liposuction" reveals some surprising positive effects of liposuction.
