Title: Recent Applications of Polymer Supported Organometallic Catalysts in Organic Synthesis
Authors: Kann, Nina, 1964
Source: Molecules. 15(9):6306-6331
Subject Terms: allylic substitution, solid-phase synthesis, aryl chlorides, reactions, polymer supported, palladium complex, amphiphilic resin, transfer, hydrogenation, solid phase synthesis, cross-coupling, aryl amination, acrolein diethyl acetal, mizoroki-heck reaction, supercritical carbon-dioxide, metathesis, n-heterocyclic carbenes, organometallic, bond-forming reactions
Description: Recent developments concerning the application of polymer supported organometallic reagents in solid phase synthesis are reviewed, with a special focus on methodology for carbon-carbon formation. Examples of reactions that are covered include the classical Suzuki, Sonogashira and Heck coupings, but also aryl amination, epoxide opening, rearrangements, metathesis and cyclopropanation. Applications in the field of asymmetric synthesis are also discussed.
