Popis: The bryophyte flora of the canyon Rövarekulan in Skåne, southern-most Sweden, has been thoroughly investigated as reported herein. Including historic records, a total of 200 taxa have been reported, whereof 181 were found in 2023–2024. The most spectacular finding was that of a small population of Didymodon luridus, until recently regarded as extinct in Sweden, growing in a crack in a south-facing wall of calcareous shale close to the rivulet in the bottom of the canyon, accompanied by Bryoerythrophyllum recurvirostrum, Campylophyllum calcareum, Didymodon fallax, D. insulanus, Encalypta streptocarpa, Fissidens bryoides var. viridulus, Tortula subulata var. angustata and Taxiphyllum wissgrilli. Other nationally red-listed species found in the canyon include Acaulon muticum, Cirriphyllum crassinervium, Oxyrrhynchium schleicheri and Physcomitrella patens.
